IOSA Audit Services
PROS is a formally accredited Audit Organization (AO) by
the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to
perform IATA Operational Safety Audits (IOSA).
IOSAs can only be performed by IATA accredited AOs.
PROS was one of the first AO's in the world to successfully
receive accreditation from IATA. Along with IATA and
the original IOSA Steering Committee, we have been involved
in the development and implementation of the IOSA process
from the beginning. We performed one of the first two
IOSA audits, which were conducted simultaneously in
September 2003.
PROS has the experience, the resources and the ability to
provide an Operator with the best possible IOSA audit
solution. We will assist you through the IOSA process
from preparation to registration.
PROS offers the following IOSA services:
IOSA Preparation Visit (IPV)
At an Operator's request, PROS will provide direct guidance
in advance of the on-site assessment phase of the audit for
the purpose of preparing for a successful IOSA audit.
Through an IPV, PROS can provide:
 |
On-site IOSA Preparation
Visit (IPV) |
 |
Explanation of IOSA concepts and terminology |
 |
Explanation of entire IOSA process from preparation
to registration |
 |
Communication of audit objectives and
expectations |
 |
Guidance interpreting IOSA Standards and Recommended
Practices (ISARPs) |
 |
Techniques for conducting pre-audit self assessment
to determine level of conformity with ISARPs |
 |
Direction to additional resources |
During an IPV, PROS cannot provide:
 |
Instruction to or specifically what actions
the Operator should take to achieve
conformity with ISARPs |
 |
Consulting services that would in anyway cause a conflict
of interest |
