FAA Recognizes International Safety Audit
Program
On July 2, 2004 the Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA) approved IOSA Program as a
means for U.S. carriers to fulfill code-share audit
requirements.
"These audits will fulfill
the airlines responsibility to ensure that
code-share carriers meet international safety
standards."
U.S. Carriers do not have to audit their codeshare
partners if those airlines hold a valid IOSA
registration.
